TELL US ABOUT THE FUTURE

The performance TELL US ABOUT THE FUTURE is inspired by the novel Solaris by Stanisław Lem. It tells the story of a protagonist who, sent to an alien planet, faces his memories, fears and traumas alone. Faced with an ocean that materialises his visions, he must decide for himself to what extent he wants to resist them and to what extent he wants to succumb. The magnificent metaphor of human existence described by Lem becomes even more relevant now, at a time when technology is trying to manipulate human minds. An additional value of the performance is the movement and dance as the basic vehicle of the performance. This gives the story a deeper meaning. All this takes place in a setting of film productions. Is this the future or already the present? Does it really have to take place on an alien planet?
