Meadow - A Ballade of four

Zohar Karny

"Meadow - A Ballad of Four״

Set to the backdrop of traditional North American ballads, this creation outlines an archaic and fantastical space that invites us to view the present through representations from a seemingly distant land. Karny’s work continues her exploration of a performative approach, examining the body's ability to embody both subjugation and freedom simultaneously and to navigate between apparently Obvious Boundaries of the obedient and the rebellious, the tame and the wild, the enslaved and the free — a kingdom where both coexist.

The production was produced with the support of the Israel Lottery Council For Culture & Arts.
