Evening of short works

All or Nothing

Yael Iddan

I am this and this and this. And therefore,

I am neither this, nor this, nor this.

An attempt to hold onto everything, fully, completely, all the way.

A bottomless pit, a war that cannot be won.

But maybe, in fact, everything is possible?

Music:

Tinder - Origamibiro

Long Way Ahead - EDEN, Niro prod

A special thanks to Iris Erez, for her dedicated guidance

To Remain

Yifat Ben Baruch - yekutiel

"To Remain" is a dance work that explores physical limitation and the possibilities of moving from within it, alongside it, through it, and in its presence. The movement possibilities are experienced through changing emotional states and reveal themselves to be no less rich or meaningful than those available in a free and unrestricted condition. The work presents an internal, external, and metaphorical dialogue between the mind, the body, and the surrounding environment.

Live Action

Noa Lotem Oron

The work deals with expanding consciousness and retrieving pearls from the abyss of the shifting subconscious. The body is granted freedom—surprising, communicating, and becoming clearer in front of the audience. The piece explores in real-time the reflection of the mind's clutter through body and sound into a creation, arising from the inner wellspring of the dancer and the musician. The two communicate with each other and each with themselves, generating shifting states of movement and sound that test the boundaries of the possible. The act of improvisation serves as a means to question the present and the presence in the moment, opening up a space where the concept of freedom is examined and the mind is liberated.

Entreatment

Batya Daniel

Entreatment is a solo dance about prayer as a search for deep existential connection with Godliness. The work examines movement as a gateway to essence and soul, parallel to the way text and ritual are a gateway to spiritual connection.

Music:

Beirut" By Ibrahim Maalouf"

Special thanks to Iris Erez for her guidance and support in the creation of this solo work.
