MASH Dance Dock11

An annual festival presenting a collection of selected dance works, workshops and panels at the Dock11 theater in Berlin.

Based on a long-term partnership between DOCK 11 EDEN in Berlin and the Shalem Dance Center in Jerusalem, a festival is staged annually at the House Theater in Berlin, featuring a selection of dance works by Israeli choreographers that were presented within the framework of the Jerusalem International Dance Week platform.

In 2025, a festive edition of the MASH Dance Berlin event took place, which hosted, alongside the Berlin audience, directors of international dance centers and festivals, who came with the aim of inviting Israeli creators and dance works to residencies and performances around the world.

To date, six editions of the festival have taken place, creating a lively and meaningful encounter between Israeli artists and the German dance-loving audience. These encounters provide fertile ground for ongoing cultural dialogue, knowledge exchange, and new artistic collaborations that strengthen the connection between the dance communities in Jerusalem and Berlin.

The festival is held with the support of DOCK ART, the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, and the Israeli Embassy in Berlin.
