Jerusalem exchange

Reciprocal residency programs in which Jerusalem artists and partner centers come together for a period of research and development of new dance creation. The program is held in collaboration with several centers in Europe.

An international residency exchange program between dance centers around the world, designed for Jerusalem-based and Israeli choreographers. As part of the program, artists are sent for defined periods to partner dance centers abroad, where they are provided with the conditions to develop a new dance work or further an ongoing creative process, while being exposed to different cultural, artistic, and professional contexts. In parallel, the partner centers send artists to work and reside at Machol Shalem Dance House in Jerusalem, supporting creation, research, engagement with the local dance community, and the development of an ongoing professional dialogue.
