Nadia Timofeeva

 Choreographer and Artistic Director of the “Jerusalem Ballet.” Graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. Served as a soloist at the Kremlin Theatre in Moscow from the age of 18. Immigrated to Israel in 1991 with her mother, Nina Timofeeva – a prima ballerina of the Bolshoi. Carries forward the tradition of classical Russian ballet at the highest level. Since 2009, she has created original works presented בארץ ובעולם (in Israel and internationally). Recipient of the Minister of Aliyah and Integration Award in memory of Yuri Stern (2014). Her works combine emotional depth, technical precision, and a distinctive artistic voice. Her choreographies are also performed in international competitions by her students. Serves as choreographer for the Hallel Ballet Ensemble, creating original works tailored to the values of the Haredi audience.
