Shedding the visible and invisible remnants of the self, Land Slugs is a choreographic tashlich: a ceremony of casting off. Two performers, in a constant motion of letting go, discard past works, personas, ambition, postures, and even the very images their bodies are supposed to serve. What remains when all that effort is abandoned?
Amidst fragile islands of disorientation, fantasies emerge. There is surrender, there is invention, there is the radical act of support - holding onto each other even in the moment of losing the ground beneath one's feet.
