About
Define
Something begins to move, an inner urge with no name. Three performers embark on a journey of self-definition without being defined. Through raw motion and introspection, Define digs into the body’s memory, seeking a beginning that is also a becoming.
Performers: Yoel Masli, Dan Orel, Daniel Ben Ami
Original Music: Yehonatan Leibovitz

Dana Ruttenberg is an interdisciplinary choreographer whose works reveal the body as a living archive of memories, aspirations, and personal and collective histories. Her creations blend humor and vulnerability, weaving autobiographical threads with philosophical explorations of performance, fantasy, and the stories body and movement can hold. From intimate or interactive museum encounters to multilayered stage works—and through initiatives like Project 48 Dance and her artistic leadership of Curtain Up—Ruttenberg continually expands choreographic formats while nurturing a vibrant, interconnected dance community.
