By: Ofra Idel In Sounds Alive, two women meet during a time of war, bound together by a shared destiny. They appear inseparable. Their joint journey explores attempts at closeness and distance, strength and fragility. They fight one another and confront extreme situations, responding with different frequencies and intensities.

They fight one another and confront extreme situations, responding with different frequencies and intensities. Throughout the performance, the characters try to sing, shout, and speak but emit only a single sound through which they tell their story. Their journey is interwoven with familiar and abstract imagery from the battles they have faced and fleeting moments of grace.
