Arrangement of performances for dance and performance artists 2026
MASH Dance House invites independent creators to apply for our 2026 performance season. We are dedicated to supporting the revival of existing repertoire and the debut of new works across all dance and performance genres.
Independent Israeli Creators – Dance and Performance
MASH Dance House is announcing a special proposal for independent artists for 2026. This initiative is designed to encourage the continued performance of existing shows, provide a platform for new works, and expose the public to a wide variety of dance and performance genres.
Call for Proposals Details
Venue Access: The Center’s halls (Hall 3 or Hall 4) will be available to artists for 10 hours on the day of the performance.
Subsidized Fee: A flat operational cost of 1,500 NIS.
Revenue: Artists receive 100% of ticket sales income, minus a 5% service commission.
Security Deposit: A deposit of 2,500 NIS is required to secure a date. This will be refunded following the performance and final financial settlement.
The Center Will Provide:
Advanced lighting and sound systems available in the hall.
A dedicated ticket-purchase page on the Shalem Dance Center website.
Box office and ushering services on the day of the performance.
Artist Responsibilities:
Technical Staff: Providing and covering the costs for a lighting designer, sound technician, stage manager, and/or any additional technical support required for setup and operation.
Note: A single "wash" lighting setup can be provided free of charge if the artist performs without a dedicated lighting designer.
Marketing & PR: Promotion is the sole responsibility of the artists. Any publication by Shalem Dance Center on its channels is supplementary and at the Center's discretion.
Audience: Bringing the audience is the exclusive responsibility of the artist.
General Terms
Availability: Slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Duration: Proposals must be for programs at least 50 minutes long.
Format: The evening can consist of several short works, provided the total duration is at least 50 minutes.
Submission: The application form must include all details of the works and be submitted as a complete program with a single point of contact.
Seating: Seating can be arranged in a standard frontal format or, with prior coordination, in an "arena" (in-the-round) layout.
